# Release 2026-09-23

Patch release: `Orleans.Lattice.Storage.File` advances to `9.7.1`. No other package changes in this wave.

## Fixed

- **WAL - Offset allocation regressed beneath the trim floor.** `FileWalShard` took the next offset from live entries, so a fully trimmed shard restarted at `0` beneath its own watermark and the next recovery silently discarded every write made since.
